Reflections on the changes in our English lessons

Dear friends,

Please, share your reflections on the changes in our English lessons. What has happened? Has your attitude to learning English changed? Is it worth using the Internet in and out of class? Why? What opportunities do you have when you get tasks to do on the Internet? What did you enjoy most? What would you like to continue to do in our lessons in the future?

Looking forward to getting your true answers.

  1. I think we need the Internet to learn English. Our traditional lessons became more interesting and cognitive. It's worth using the Internet in and out class, because you can learn something new, develop your skills, practice and enrich your vocabulary. The Internet helps you to change your attitude to English. It makes you understand that English is very important nowadays. I enjoyed doing this tasks on the blog and I'll need all this information to do my research and to prove that English and the Internet are very close things. I think it will be good to continue using the Internet in our lessons in future, because it's better and much more exciting than traditional lessons.

  2. i think every school must use the internet in learning english because ordinary lessons of english from year to year become uninteresting, boring and the internet and doing english homework are some kind of shake-up. in my view i changed my mind about english lessons and english at all. it became more interesting various. yes, it's worth using. if you don't have dictionary for example the internet'll help. for me the internet is some kind of your own teacher of english. some bashful students shy to ask some word for example and the iternet'll help. that's why it's worth using not only out of class. i think i have described above some of the opportunities which the internet gives us but this is not the end of its possibilities.
i think this kind of homeworh is very fruitful and in my view it's worth leaving.

  3. I believe that the use of the internet is very helpful, and that we can use the Internet in the English class and there is nothing wrong with it. For example, when we are writing comments on the blog, we have an opportunity not only to express our opinion, but also to see the other point of view. We have the opportunity to hold discussions not only in the classroom, but also at home)
When we are responding to the questions at home and leaving comments, we have more time to think, to formulate our answers. The best thing for me is that my mark has grown)it is a pross of such kind of homework) I would like to continue do homework on this way)

  4. I agree with Sasha that every school must use the internet in learning English. Nowadays children spend a lot of time surfing the Internet. And our extraordinary lessons help to combine useful, interestind and pleasant. Moreover in normal lessons we don't have enough time to develop our listening skills. And the Internet helps us to use the theory in practice. You have enough time to think, analyze and write your opinion. But it will be better when we'll start to combine our usual and the Enternet lessons.

  5. My dear students,

Thank you very much for your sincere comments. Unfortunately, not everybody has commented on this important issue. I see that you would like to continue using the Internet for our lessons. Of course, there are some questions to discuss, for example, how often we should do it. Perhaps, once or twice a week. Obviously, the Internet offers new opportunities to those who take English seriously as 45-minute lessons are not enough to communicate in English. As David Beckham said, "when the opportunity comes along, you have to take it." So, let's take it!

    Best wishes,
    T.Y.
